The primary purpose of 12 Step Programs is to enable people to live drug free.
Working the Steps will help people resolve many issues in their lives, especially those that are connected to alcohol and drug use, but some problems may still persist to which 12 Step Programs are not designed to deal with.
Thank you for making this point. It is not a knock on 12 Step Programs, it's just that some issues may require outside help. Like depression and other issues. Thanks again and keep up the good work. Fight the good fight!

Thank you for posting this information. People need to use all the tools available in treating chemical dependence.
